Softball Recap: Greeneville Greene Devils vs. Weir Red Riders
Greeneville blew Weir out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Weir got their revenge. The Greene Devils fell just short of the Red Riders by a score of 6-4. The Greene Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Red Riders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.
Kyla Jobe made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.
Greeneville now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Weir, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-4.
Coming up, Greeneville will take on Varsity Opponent at 12:40 p.m. on Friday. As for Weir, they will face off against Struthers at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
