Basketball Game Preview: Bristol Bay Angels vs. Sand Point Eagles/Lady Eagles

The Bristol Bay Angels will head out to face off against the Sand Point Eagles/Lady Eagles at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. Bristol Bay will be strutting in after a victory while Sand Point will be coming in after a loss.

On Friday, Bristol Bay earned a 50-37 win over King Cove. The Angels haven't had any issues with the T-Jacks and Rookies recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, after a string of seven wins, Sand Point's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell to Newhalen 44-40.

Sand Point's defeat dropped their record down to 12-2. As for Bristol Bay, their win bumped their record up to 14-6.

Bristol Bay came up short against Sand Point in their previous matchup on Thursday, falling 41-30. Can Bristol Bay avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
