Winneconne came tearing into Thursday's contest with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Shawano Community Hawks as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Wolves were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Hawks, so the Wolves were just returning the favor.

Winneconne not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Shawano Community between 16 and 17 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-16, 25-17.

Winneconne's offense was headlined by Alyssa Koval and Malia Bodoh, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Bailey Church and her 24 assists. Neela Gardner controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Winneconne's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Shawano Community, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-9.

Winneconne didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Newman Catholic on the 13th. Shawano Community has also already played their next game (against Clintonville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
