The Ardrey Kell Knights lost 3-0 to the Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders on Saturday. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ardrey Kell took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-17, 25-18.

Moorea Atkins paced Ardrey Kell's offense, picking up seven kills. Atkins got some help from Sabrina Fumero and her 13 assists.

Ardrey Kell's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Cardinal Gibbons, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ardrey Kell will welcome East Mecklenburg at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cardinal Gibbons, they will host Felton Grove at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Crusaders' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
