Basketball Recap: Lakewood Takes a Loss

Lakewood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 42-34 to the Granville Blue Aces. If the Lancers were looking for revenge after losing 56-34 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lakewood's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Granville, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lakewood will challenge Newark Catholic at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday. As for Granville, they will take on Licking Heights at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
