The Heide Trask Titans will square off against the South Columbus Stallions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Heide Trask is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.8 runs per game this season.

South Columbus is facing Heide Trask at the wrong time: Heide Trask suffered their first home loss of the season on Friday and they're likely out for redemption. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Titans have suffered since April 19, 2024.

Trinitee Odom made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Shelby Groves, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, while South Columbus put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for West Columbus. The Stallions came out on top in a nail-biter against the Vikings, sneaking past 2-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Stallions have posted since May 10, 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Heide Trask and nudges their season record down to 9-4. Even worse, they were so close both times: the defeats came by an average of only 1.5 runs. As for South Columbus, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-6.

Heide Trask couldn't quite finish off South Columbus in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 and fell 5-3. Can the Titans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
