Basketball Recap: MONTE FARMER Key Part of a Team Effort in Charging Indians Win

Washington-Marion won the last time they faced Eunice and things went their way on Friday too. The Washington-Marion Charging Indians snuck past the Eunice Bobcats with a 59-53 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Charging Indians as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Washington-Marion's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was MONTE FARMER, who posted 22 points. The contest was FARMER's third in a row with at least ten points. LANDON DUHON was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Washington-Marion's record now sits at 10-11. As for Eunice, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-8.

Washington-Marion will face off against Hamilton Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hamilton Christian will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Washington-Marion surely won't give up without a fight. Eunice has already played their next match (against Cecilia), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
