Basketball Game Preview: Flagstaff Eagles vs. Prescott Badgers

Flagstaff is on a six-game streak of home wins, while Prescott is on a seven-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Flagstaff Eagles will host the Prescott Badgers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Friday, Flagstaff didn't have too much trouble with Bradshaw Mountain as they won 57-38. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 35th, while the Bears are ranked 156th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Prescott blew past ALA - Queen Creek, posting a 72-22 win. The Badgers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Prescott is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.5 points. As for Flagstaff, their victory bumped their record up to 13-5.
