Baseball Recap: Union Makes It Ten in a Row at Home

While Union's win against Morgan wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cougars had just enough and edged out the Trojans 5-3. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Union pushed their record up to 14-4 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Morgan, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Union will head out to take on Ben Lomond at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars are facing the Scots at the right time seeing as the Scots are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Morgan, they will face off against South Summit at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
