It's playoff time, and Sotomayor had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Brandeis Broncos by a score of 42-34 on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the WILDCATS sure are getting used to it with their 11th in a row.

Sotomayor's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jordan Pete led the charge by putting up 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jah'Dae Bussey, who posted ten points and six steals.

Sotomayor smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in 20 consecutive matches.

When it comes to explaining why Brandeis lost, don't look at Abigail Burdette. Despite the final result, she put up 12 points. Burdette is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 57% in the last three games she's played. Mia Ramos was another key player, earning eight points and three steals.

Sotomayor's win bumped their record up to 26-8. As for Brandeis, they now have a losing record of 17-18.

Sotomayor has already played their next contest, a 52-38 defeat against Vandegrift on the 14th. Brandeis does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
