Thornton and Skyview are an even 4-4 against one another since March of 2017, but likely not for long. The Trojans will head out to challenge the Wolverines at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Skyview will have to contend with a Thornton squad hungry for a win, something the team hasn't seen since March 18. Thornton lost 9-1 to Adams City on Friday.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Skyview was forced to settle for a draw. They and Gateway finished up their match with a 0-0 draw on Thursday.

Thornton's loss dropped their record down to 1-7-1. Skyview's draw gives them a new season record of 4-3-1.

Thornton took their victory against Skyview when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
