Baseball Recap: Riverside-Brookfield Takes a Loss

Riverside-Brookfield suffered their closest defeat since April 4th on Saturday. They fell just short of the Maine South Hawks by a score of 4-2. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Riverside-Brookfield has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-10 record this season. As for Maine South, they now have a winning record of 15-14.

Coming up, Riverside-Brookfield will square off against Glenbard South at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Maine South, they will host Evanston at 4:45 p.m. on Monday.
