Basketball Recap: Harrisonville Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Harrisonville faced off against Warrensburg on Tuesday. The Harrisonville Wildcats fell to the Warrensburg Tigers 40-35. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Wildcats came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 161st, while the Tigers are ranked 352nd).

This is the second loss in a row for Harrisonville and nudges their season record down to 10-7. As for Warrensburg, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-13.

Harrisonville will host Oak Grove at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Warrensburg has already played their next contest (against Smith-Cotton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
