Volleyball Game Preview: Gibson Southern Titans vs. Vincennes Lincoln Alices

The Gibson Southern Titans will challenge the Vincennes Lincoln Alices at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Gibson Southern is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

On Thursday, Gibson Southern got the win against Princeton by a conclusive 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-16, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Vincennes Lincoln earned a 3-1 win over Heritage Hills on Saturday.

Vincennes Lincoln was especially dominant in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 15-25, 25-22, 25-11.

Vincennes Lincoln's win came from a few key players Gibson Southern will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Hadley Piper, who had six digs and four aces. Hayden Limbach was another key player, getting 15 digs.

Vincennes Lincoln now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Gibson Southern, their victory bumped their record up to 18-6.

Gibson Southern came out on top in a nail-biter against Vincennes Lincoln in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Titans repeat their success, or do the Alices have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
