Xavier strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by a 42-21 margin over the Waverly-Shell Rock Go-Hawks. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Saints' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa football rankings (they are ranked second, while the Go-Hawks are ranked 64th).

Xavier's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Waverly-Shell Rock, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
