Soccer Recap: Newcastle Comes Up Short

Newcastle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 6-0 to the Rawlins Outlaws. Newcastle were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Rawlins apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Newcastle's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Rawlins, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Newcastle is set to challenge their familiar foe Worland at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Rawlins will face off against rival Torrington at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
