Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Emporia). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Junction City Bluejays 49-21. The victory continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Bluejays: they've now won eight in a row.

Emporia's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 4-10-2. As for Junction City, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
