Basketball Recap: Rice Comes Up Short

After soaring to 69 points the game before, Rice was a bit more limited in their match on Saturday. They fell to the Frost Polar Bears 31-26. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 51-47 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Rice has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for Frost, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-11.

Rice will be home for the holidays to greet Blooming Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Frost, they will head out to square off against Mildred at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
