Soccer Recap: Wynne Comes Up Short

If Wynne was feeling good fresh off their 4-0 takedown of Lonoke last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wynne Yellowjackets fell just short of the Robinson Senators by a score of 1-0 on Monday. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Yellowjackets couldn't quite close it out.

Having lost for the first time this season, Wynne fell to 1-1-3. As for Robinson, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wynne will welcome Mills University Studies at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Robinson, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Westside at 7:00 p.m.
