Basketball Recap: Lithonia Takes a Loss

Lithonia managed to keep up with St. Pius X Catholic until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Lithonia Bulldogs lost 64-42 to the St. Pius X Catholic Golden Lions. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 235th, while the Golden Lions are ranked 98th).

Lithonia has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-7 record this season. As for St. Pius X Catholic, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lithonia has already played their next contest (against Clarkston), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. St. Pius X Catholic has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Marist.
