Baseball Recap: Prince of Peace Wins Going Away Against Coram Deo Academy

Prince of Peace won the last time they faced Coram Deo Academy and things went their way on Thursday too. The Eagles blew past the Lions 12-1. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won seven matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Hamilton Klint and Cole Clendaniel did most of the damage at the plate: Klint went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple, while Clendaniel scored four runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Clendaniel has become a key player for Prince of Peace: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 5-6-1 otherwise. Luke Briske was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

Prince of Peace was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .310 or higher in three consecutive contests.

Prince of Peace's record is now 10-6-1. As for Coram Deo Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6-1.
