Antonio Hernandez was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. He is becoming a predictor of St. John's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 7-3 (and 4-6 when he doesn't).

St. John's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Lake View, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

While St. John's had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
