Basketball Recap: Diagonal Takes a Loss

Diagonal lost against Saydel back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Diagonal Maroons were dealt a 55-24 defeat at the hands of the Saydel Eagles. The matchup marked the Maroons' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Diagonal's loss was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Saydel, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-3.

Diagonal didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 52-21 defeat against Murray on the 10th. Saydel has also already played their next matchup, a 69-31 loss against Roland-Story on the 10th.
