Baseball Game Preview: Amador Valley Dons vs. James Logan Colts

The Amador Valley Dons are headed away from home for the first time to challenge the James Logan Colts at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Amador Valley will be strutting in after a victory while James Logan will be coming in after a defeat.

On Tuesday, Amador Valley was able to grind out a solid win over Bellarmine College Prep, taking the game 10-5. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Dons.

Brennan Baptist tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Aidan Foley, who scored two runs and stole Three bases. while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Gavin Whalley, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, James Logan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Foothill, falling 11-0.

James Logan's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Amador Valley, their record is now 2-0.
