Hendrick Hudson had won four straight games and Elyse Smith did her part to make it five on Tuesday. The Hendrick Hudson Sailors really took it to the Edgemont Panthers for the full four quarters, racking up a 60-30 win thanks in part to Smith, who posted 20 points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Carleighs Ortiz, who had six points and three steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played.

Hendrick Hudson has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 37.2 points. As for Edgemont, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
