Brelan Sieveking leads Towns County to victory over Coosa

Recap: Towns County Indians vs. Coosa Eagles

The Towns County Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 21 points or more this season. They ended the year with a bang, routing Coosa 57-35. The victory was just what Towns County needed coming off of a 70-25 defeat in their prior matchup.

Brelan Sieveking continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 21 points along with five assists and five rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Towns County's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaleigh Beaver, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds.

Towns County has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Coosa, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-9.

Towns County will be playing in front of their home fans against Warren County at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Coosa will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Chattooga at 6:00 p.m. on January 5th.
