Boynton Beach came into Tuesday's game looking for another win against NSU University, but Laly Luque wouldn't allow it. The Sharks strolled past the Tigers with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 61-42 with plenty of help from Luque, who shot 73% from the field on her way to 24 points along with seven rebounds and five blocks. She is on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 57% in the last three games she's played dating back to last season.

Boynton Beach lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was A Nelams, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 13 boards. Another player making a difference was T Davis, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten rebounds.

The victory got NSU University back to even at 1-1. As for Boynton Beach, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

NSU University didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 41-36 win against Gulliver Prep on the 4th. As for Boynton Beach, they will venture away from home to challenge Atlantic at 7:00 p.m. on the 11th.
