Grandview gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Alvarado Indians. The Zebras haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Grandview was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-14, 25-10.

London Helm paced Grandview's offense, picking up 11 kills. Helm got some help from Gracie Lawson and her 26 assists. Helm also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Rylie Butler, racking up four apiece.

Coincidentally, Grandview and Alvarado will both be playing Blum the next time they take the court. The Indians will head out to face the Bobcats at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Zebras will play them later in the day, at 6:30 p.m.
