Recap: Ogden International vs. Richards Warriors
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Ogden International can now relate to. They took a 71-66 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (64), Ogden International still had to take the loss.
Ogden International's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Deshawn Perry-Tucker, who scored 21 points, and Alonte' Reynolds who scored 19 points. Reynolds is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last ten games he's played. Another player making a difference was Luis Leon, who scored nine points.
Ogden International now has a losing record at 12-13. As for Richards, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-9.
Ogden International will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Kaneland at 5:00 p.m. on February 14th. As for Richards, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Austin College and Career Academy at 5:00 p.m. on January 31st. Austin College and Career Academy is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
