Volleyball Game Preview: Freeman Scotties vs. Asotin Panthers

Freeman is a perfect 4-0 against Asotin since September of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Scotties are taking a road trip to square off against the Panthers at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Freeman took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They came out on top against Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna by a score of 3-1. The Scotties haven't had any issues with the Broncos recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Asotin faced off against Upper Columbia Academy on Wednesday. The Panthers put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 3-0 win. The game was the first time the Panthers have beaten the Lions on their court since March 29, 2021.

Freeman's record is now 15-2. As for Asotin, their record now sits at 7-8.

Freeman took their victory against Asotin when the teams last played last Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Scotties since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
