Volleyball Game Preview: Grant Pacers vs. Cordova Lancers

The Grant Pacers will venture away from home to square off against the Cordova Lancers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Grant will bounce into Tuesday's match after beating Antelope, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. Grant came out on top against Antelope by a score of 3-1 on Thursday.

The victory didn't come easy: Antelope scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-21, 23-25, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Cordova entered their tilt with Kennedy on Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Cougars.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 21-25, 25-17, 25-18.

Cordova's victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-5. As for Grant, their win bumped their record up to 7-5.

Grant couldn't quite get it done against Cordova in their previous meeting back in March of 2022 as they fell 3-1. Can Grant avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
