Baseball Game Preview: SkyView Academy Hawks vs. Front Range Christian Falcons

The SkyView Academy Hawks will take on the Front Range Christian Falcons at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. SkyView Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.5 runs per game this season.

SkyView Academy not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 25th (when they won 33-4). Everything went their way against Denver Academy as they made off with a 26-2 win. The victory continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won seven in a row.

Chris Gallegos was a standout: he went 4-for-5 with eight RBI, two stolen bases, and three runs. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Logen Meyers was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three stolen bases, five RBI, and three runs.

SkyView Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .607. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Meanwhile, Front Range Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against Byers, falling 11-5.

Front Range Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Dreiling, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run. Another was Nate McInturff, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Front Range Christian's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for SkyView Academy, their win bumped their record up to 9-4.
