Soccer Recap: Palatine Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Palatine can now relate to. They lost 5-1 to the Libertyville Wildcats on Friday. The match was a close 2-1 at the break, but unfortunately for Palatine it sure didn't stay that way.

Their goal came courtesy of Allie Whitcomb, who's now up to eight this season.

Palatine's loss dropped their record down to 9-7-2. As for Libertyville, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-1-3.

As of now, neither Palatine nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
