Baseball Recap: Deridder Snags Eighth Win in Last Ten Games

The matchup between DeRidder and Kinder on Saturday hardly resembled the 3-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Dragons narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Yellowjackets 11-10. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Dragons have posted since February 20th.

DeRidder has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-16 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.4 runs over those games. As for Kinder, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-10.
