Basketball Recap: West Texas Comes Up Short

West Texas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the White Deer Bucks, falling 55-25. The Comanches were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bucks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

West Texas lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Gentry Francis, who posted six points.

West Texas' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, West Texas will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Booker at 1:00 p.m. As for White Deer, they will be taking part in a tournament against O'Donnell at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
