Baseball Game Preview: La Farge Wildcats vs. Weston Silver Eagles

La Farge hasn't had much luck against Weston recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Wildcats will challenge the Silver Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

La Farge is headed into Thursday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their tenth straight game on Tuesday. They came up short against Brookwood, falling 8-2.

Meanwhile, Weston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 11-0 to Barneveld, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Weston saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Garrett Granger, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

La Farge's loss dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Weston, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-8.

La Farge couldn't quite get it done against Weston in their previous meeting on May 5th as they fell 3-0. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
