Softball Recap: Perry-Lecompton Falls Short Against Ranked Jefferson West

Perry-Lecompton faced Jefferson West in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Kaws lost 12-1 to the Tigers. The Kaws have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Perry-Lecompton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Paxton Damme, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one double.

Perry-Lecompton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Jefferson West, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-3.

While Perry-Lecompton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
