Baseball Recap: Calhoun City Gets the Win

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Calhoun City walked away with it. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 15-14 victory over the Smithville Seminoles on Saturday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Wildcats as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Calhoun City's record is now 9-12. As for Smithville, the defeat snapped their winning streak at 11 games and leaves them with a 16-10 record.

Calhoun City will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Seminoles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
