Dixon has gone a perfect 3-0 against Rio Linda recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Rams will head out to square off against the Knights at 7:00 p.m. Dixon will be strutting in after a win while Rio Linda will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Dixon turned things around against Natomas on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 34-18 victory over the Nighthawks.

Meanwhile, Rio Linda might've scored the first points on Friday, but it was Woodland who claimed the real prize. The Knights were just a hair shy of victory and fell 29-28 to the Wolves. The Knights were up 28-8 in the second quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Despite the defeat, Rio Linda saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Louis Means rushed for 129 yards and one TD. Zyon Turner was in the mix as well, providing the Knights with two touchdowns.

Dixon's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Rio Linda, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.

Everything came up roses for Dixon against Rio Linda in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 48-6 victory. In that matchup, the Rams amassed a halftime lead of 26-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
