Baseball Recap: South Haven Christian Takes a Loss

After flying high against Pleasant View Christian last Tuesday, South Haven Christian came back down to earth. South Haven Christian came up short against the Christian Community Colts on Tuesday, falling 17-2. South Haven Christian has struggled against Christian Community recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

South Haven Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kade Atkinson, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Jack Rush also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

South Haven Christian now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Christian Community, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Coincidentally, South Haven Christian and Christian Community will both be playing Zion Christian Academy the next time they take the field. Christian Community will host Zion Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while South Haven Christian will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
