Volleyball Recap: Ellendale Has No Trouble Against Sargent County

The Ellendale Cardinals got the win against the Sargent County Bulldogs on Monday by a conclusive 3-0.

Ellendale never let Sargent County on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 26-24, 25-16.

Ellendale's offense was headlined by Anisten Petersen and Kinsey Middlestead, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Mya Glynn and her 25 assists. Alivia Knutson controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

The win got Ellendale back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ellendale will take on Barnes County North co-op [North Central/Wimbledon-Courtenay] at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sargent County, they will challenge LaMoure/Litchville-Marion at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
