Basketball Game Preview: Chelan Mountain Goats vs. Waterville Shockers

The Chelan Mountain Goats are taking a road trip to take on the Waterville Shockers at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Waterville took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Chelan, who comes in off a win.

Chelan took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 62-22 win over Bridgeport. The Mountain Goats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, Waterville's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 41-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pateros. The game was a 17-17 toss-up at halftime, but the Shockers couldn't quite close it out.

Chelan is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.8 points per game. As for Waterville, their loss dropped their record down to 14-3.
