Volleyball Recap: El Primero Lobos vs. Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit Lions
El Primero lost against Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lobos fell just short of the Lions by a score of 3-2. The Lobos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
El Primero took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 13-25, 25-13, 22-25, 25-19, 15-8.
El Primero's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-6.
We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. El Primero is set to take on their familiar foe KIPP Navigate College Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit will face off against rival Basis Independent Silicon Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
