Volleyball Recap: Prairie View Buffalos vs. Riverton Rams
Prairie View and Riverton squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Prairie View had to settle for second. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Riverton Rams. The Buffalos haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Prairie View was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Riverton work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 26-24.
Lexie Mallatt was a one-man wrecking crew for Riverton as she had 17 digs. Mallatt is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in the last 15 games she's played dating back to last season.
Prairie View's defeat dropped their record down to 26-12. As for Riverton, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 30-10.
