Softball Recap: Sylvania Takes a Loss

Sylvania's tournament run continued when they took on South Pittsburg on Friday. The Rams lost 10-2 to the Pirates. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mara Anderson was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four stolen bases and two runs. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 1.1 stolen bases per game.

Sylvania's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for South Pittsburg, their record now sits at 5-11.

Coming up, Sylvania will face off against Marion County at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for South Pittsburg, they will take on Ider at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
