Sherrard is 8-2 against Mercer County since September of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Tigers will host the Golden Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Mercer County took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Sherrard, who comes in off a win.

The home team had come away the winner the last seven times Sherrard and Monmouth-Roseville had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Tigers walked away with a 2-0 win over the Titans on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Titans: they've now won three in a row.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Sherrard was: they took both sets by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Mercer County came up short against Riverdale on Thursday and fell 2-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Golden Eagles in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost seven in a row.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Riverdale scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-17.

Mercer County's defeat dropped their record down to 16-16. As for Sherrard, their win bumped their record up to 26-4-1.
