Basketball Recap: Turtle Lake Skates Past Bruce with Ease

The Turtle Lake Lakers were fully in charge on Tuesday, breezing past the Bruce Red Raiders 51-15.

Turtle Lake's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kate Pabst, who shot 62% from the field to rack up 14 points and four steals. Lexi Tarman was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds.

The win got Turtle Lake back to even at 1-1. As for Bruce, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Turtle Lake and Bruce will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Lakers will square off against rival Frederic at 5:45 p.m. on December 5. Meanwhile, Bruce is set to challenge their familiar foe Winter at 5:45 p.m. on December 5.
