NorthWood won the last time they faced Plymouth and things went their way on Monday too. The Panthers blew past the Pilgrims/Rockies 16-6. Considering the Panthers have won nine contests by more than nine runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Chloe Davis made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs.

In other batting news, NorthWood got a big performance out of Payton Sears, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI and one run. Brooklyn Davis was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

NorthWood always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .559. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Plymouth only posted an OBP of .387.

NorthWood has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.1 runs over those games. As for Plymouth, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-11.
