Crete-Monee came out on top against Thornridge on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run second inning. The Warriors put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 9-3 win. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won nine in a row.

The team relied heavily on Maraya Betancourt, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Taleeana Ramirez, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs and one triple.

Crete-Monee was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .600. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .474 or higher in four consecutive games.
