Shepherd entered their tilt with St. Louis on Monday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Sharks 16-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 17-0 on Monday.

Brady Robinson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Robinson was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

In other batting news, Michael Pung was a standout: he got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three RBI and two doubles. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Tristin Fisher was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double.

Shepherd always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .639. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. Louis only posted an OBP of .421.

Shepherd pushed their record up to 18-6-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.8 runs over those games. As for St. Louis, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.
